Kevin and Shari were married on April 30th at St. Andrew's Church in Bayonne, NJ. A reception with 250 of their friends and family (including Amazing Racers Drew and wife Rose, Brennan, Alex and Marsha, as well as Emmy Award-winning producer Shane Farley) was held at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, NJ. The couple honeymooned in Australia.

Drew and his lovely fiancee Rose were married yesterday in a private Valentine's Day ceremony (he's such a romantic!). Please join us in wishing them health, happiness and prosperity in the many, many years to come (and, lots of kids!). No truth to the rumor that Kevin will be joining them on the honeymoon, nor will they be looking for yellow flags :)

From Rebecca Peterson's Watercooler on TV Guide.com: Yee, doggie! How cute are these two NYC tough guys learning how to ride horses and rustle cattle? They even look surprisingly good in their donated cowboy hats. (Whoops, must be my strange affinity for Garth Brooks surfacing.) That said, I have to lodge one complaint about tonight's first stop at the cattle ranch: I'm not a vegetarian, I wear leather coats and shoes, but I really did not need to see that branding iron make sizzling contact with a colt's flesh. Never mind that it's just a barbarically primitive system of marking one's herd; I know how much it hurts when I'm making a Boboli and the top of my hand makes accidental split-second contact with the upper rack as I'm trying to dislodge the pizza pan from my teeny tiny oven.

From Rebecca Peterson's Watercooler on TV Guide.com: These former Amazing Racers are amusing, kind of like a Staten Island Abbott and Costello, and tonight's spa antics were pretty funny. I especially enjoyed watching them teach water aerobics, when one of them described that a particular exercise move was "like you're shopping at Nordstrom and you're taking something off the rack." I also chuckled when Kevin called Drew a "chalupa" as he wrapped his buddy in foil during a mud bath. But things took a turn when Kevin assaulted Drew's senses with his... um... bodily functions while the two were in the cab of their motor home.

From TV Guide.com's Water Cooler: Further proof that there is life after reality TV, provided you've got the right shtick. On this new Discovery Channel series, everyone's favorite bald, bickering frat guys from the first Amazing Race tool around the country in an RV and perform various challenges. (Think The Simple Life with slightly more class and less fashion sense.) In last night's premiere, they dropped by a seedy Florida alligator park, where they frolicked with the reptiles, and paid a pointless visit to the Oceanspray headquarters in Massachusetts, where they herded some cranberries. Kevin and Drew are as endearing as ever, but these tasks have gotta get more interesting soon or they'll be facing a different kind of elimination.

From USA Today's Critic Corner by Robert Bianco: Though most reality contestants should be permanently banned from TV once their shows are over, we'll make an exception for Kevin O'Connor and Drew Feinberg. The two amusing, bickering best friends from the first Amazing Race turn out to be equally engaging in their own show,Kevin & Drew: Unleashed (Discovery, 10 p.m. ET/PT), a three-part series that finds them competing to see who can do better at a series of tough jobs. In the premiere, they have to harvest cranberries and wrestle alligators, which they tackle with a gung-ho, conquer-all-fears spirit that should make their native New York proud. The show is a variant on Fox's Simple Life road trip. The big difference (besides the obvious) is that Drew and Kevin seem to appreciate the value of hard work and how lucky they are to be doing it on TV. And they actually work. Not without complaint, mind you, but their insults (mostly affectionate) are inflicted on each other, not bystanders. If any two big, bald, overgrown frat boys can be considered adorable, it's Kevin and Drew ? and that's some Discovery.

From Entertainment Weekly Issue #773 (July 9, 2004), What to Watch by Dalton Ross: Before the clowns, before Team Cha-Cha-Cha, and before Zach and freak-out Flo, there was Drew Feinberg and Kevin O'Connor, The Amazing Race's original dynamic duo. In this new series, the Noo Yawkers are at it (and each other) again, traveling to places like alligatore farms and cranberry juice factories to put in an honest day's work. While much of the activity is ho-hum, watching the two argue about their van or face the petrifying prospect of gator wrestling reminds you why we fell in love with the big lugs in the first place. From TV Guide's Matt Roush's Hits & Misses column for Thursday, July 8th: As a second act for reality-TV stars, you could do worse than this travelogue series with Kevin O'Connor and Drew Feinberg, those cantankerously good-natured buddies from The Amazing Race's first season. In the premiere, they're like the Two Stooges, mutterin "Ah, geez!" as a mantra whenever they find themselves in another fine mess, whether feeding and wrestling gators in Florida or harvesting cranberries in Massachusetts. With the bickering pair cruising America in a cramped RV, it's like The Simple Life without the snotty attitude. MATT'S SCORE (0-10): 7

From TV Guide's Where Are They Now Issue (Week of June 6 - June June 12): Names: Kevin O'Connor, Drew Feinberg Ages: 38, 39 Appeared on: CBS's globe-trotting game, The Amazing Race 1 How we know them: They were bald, weight-challenged comic relief who never met an obstacle they couldn't make a joke about. Their defining moment: Feinberg swinging from a bungee cord over a canyon in Zambia while O'Connor yells, "Swing, you fat bastard!" Live in: Bayone, N.J., Staten Island, N.Y. Marital Status: Both are engaged. What they're doing now: They've both kept their day jobs - O'Connor is a forensic accountant and Feinberg is a Brooklyn court officer. Thanks to their Race notoriety, though, they've also developed their own series for the Discovery Channel, which debuts July 8. "We have a show called Kevin and Drew Unleashed," says O'Connor. "It's the Discovery brand of MTV's Jackass. TV Guide called it The Simple Life for guys. We travel to unique places, meet eccentric people and perform offbeat jobs. We do alligator wrestling, work on a shrimp boat and teach aqua aerobics to women." How it changed their lives: If it hadn't been for The Amazing Race, O'Connor and Feinberg wouldn't be serenaded by shouts of "Swing, you fat bastard!" when they are out in public. "People treat us differently," O'Connor explains. "We've been to L.A. a dozen times now. Four or five times, we've been bumped up to first class. It's changed our lives in that we never had the ambition to do what we're doing now." Would they do it again?: Without a doubt. "And we wouldn't do a thing differently," O'Connor says. "We flew by the seat of our pants. Some people memorized maps of the globe. Others got into fitness. We did nothing. That was our philosophy going in and that's our philosophy now." The fallout: Sure it's been fun "dragging out our 15 minutes for two and a half years," Feinberg jokes, but the notoriety has been worth it. Once on an airplane, "Neil Patrick Harris asked for our autograph. It's funny stuff."
